Southern Technical Institute is unable to offer any refund or transfer for any ONE day class certification classes such as CPR, Medication Technician, etc. So for example, if you register and pay $150.00 for a CNA Prep course, $69 is the non-refundable deposit that we are unable to refund or transfer and the remaining $81 is the amount eligible for a refund. ![]() If you pay any amount over and beyond the required deposit, you are entitled to get a refund for any amount over the deposit. The Buyer’s Remorse refund option is not available if you register within 3 days prior to your class start date. Once 72 hours have passed, the deposit cannot be refunded or transferred to other classes. The Buyer’s Remorse refund is only an option within the first 72 hours of registering for your class. However, we also try to be as fair as possible and offer a 72 Hour “buyer’s remorse” refundable option. Once you place the deposit, we no longer offer your reserved seat to other prospect students. Our prep course will provide you with the knowledge, tools and ability to pass the state CNA exam. Successful completion of each skill is required for you to pass. Unfortunately, you won’t have prior knowledge of the skills you have been assigned until right before performing the clinical skills exam. On the day of your test, Prometric assigns each candidate 3 of the 21 skills to be performed and observed by a nurse evaluator.
